Heading out to Houston

So you know by now blogging is new to me. Thank you Stacy from Buttermilk Basin for getting me started.  Stacy invited me into a wonderful group of designers for a cookie exchange along with designing a free pattern for our customers. Stacy explained I had to have a blog on my website.  "Fear struck and I folded like an old chair.  I know nothing about blogging or if I even have time for it right now.  Stacy tells me "keep it simple and don't stress".  I want to be in her world.  I'm leaving soon for Houston Quilt Market, my new fabric line has arrived on my door step and I'll be sewing and designing patterns until zero O'clock.  I was really excited to have the opportunity to be involved in Stacy’s fun blogging party.  Here's the deal on the free pattern coming your way Nov. 5th.  I want to make it special to show appreciation to all my customers for buying my fabrics, books and patterns. So I'm putting a little fun in this project.  Once I sat down to design this I had a great deal of fun and found it very relaxing.  It felt great to work on something for myself and I hope you like it as well.  Special thanks to Tara from Sew Unique Designs (she's a sweet heart) and to my son Chad for answering all my questions on blogging.

Catch ya later
